Alley Artifacts #8. Watercolor on paper. 8″x11″ (20cm x 29cm).
Much of my neighborhood was built in the early part of the 20th century (1920s-1930s) and I still see remnants of the original construction such as stone walls, brick incinerators, and decorative wire fencing. I see lots of plants and trees such as dandelions and Juniper. And of course old crates and boxes. I especially love the beautiful lettering on the Central Valley fruit crate. Royal Crest is still in business and delivering fresh milk through the Denver area.
